--The students will be able to recognize each of the following coins, penny, nickel, dime, and quarter, there names and the values of each of them. The students will also learn how to make a dollar from using all of these coins.
Some benchmarks would be, one day we will focus on the values and recognition of the coins and then move on to putting coins together to make larger values.
